Welcome to Barsa!  We are a multi-regional Spanish-inspired tapas restaurant located on Upper King Street in the Elliotborough of downtown Charleston.  We opened our doors at the start of 2011, and have had the privilege of seeing our little neighborhood change and grow.   It’s been an honor to help shape it at the side of some of our favorite Charleston bars and eateries.  Barsa is the third venture from Drazen Romic after his daughter’s namesake, Lana, on Cannon Street and Cafe Lana on Cumberland Street.  

While we are committed to stay true to the authenticity of Spanish traditions and techniques, we incorporate our own Southern inflection sourcing local ingredients when possible.  Our small plates are designed to be shared amongst friends and family in a convivial yet cozy atmosphere.  We look forward to meeting you!
